Sometimes the system in your Novi home never stops running, it just stops working well: uneven rooms, sticky air, climbing bills. We measure instead of guess at what's dragging on performance.
A lot of Air Conditioning Repair requests aren't about a dead unit at all — they're about a system that runs and runs but never gets comfortable. Comfort complaints are almost always a combination of factors, so we test all three.
What every performance visit includes.
Airflow, pressure, and temperature split all get measured instead of a quick 'seems fine' check.
Local staging means most Novi visits happen within days, not weeks.
You know the assessment cost before we start, credited toward repairs.
Anemometers and manometers measure airflow and pressure rather than estimating by feel, not guesswork.
Six issues that come up again and again.
Register-by-register readings pinpoint the cooling loss before recommending dampers or resizing.
Clammy air is frequently a sizing or runtime issue — we check both together.
Dirty coils, low refrigerant, and duct leakage all quietly increase runtime and cost, and we check each during the visit.
We measure static pressure directly, since excess pressure quietly shortens blower motor life.
A system slightly off on charge often won't trigger a fault code, it just underperforms quietly, so we verify against factory targets.
Coil and filter condition get checked together, since the two problems reinforce each other.
What to expect from a performance call.
Describe the comfort complaint and we schedule an assessment and we'll get it scheduled.
Tech arrives with airflow and pressure testing equipment already loaded — no return trip for gauges.
Readings are taken and explained before any repair is proposed, then quote a flat-rate fix.
Re-measurement happens before we leave, not just assumed.
Reviews from actual diagnostic visits.
Second floor was always warmer than the first no matter what we set the thermostat to. Turned out the return duct was undersized for that whole level.
— W. Renaud, homeowner
Electric bill jumped almost $80 in a single month with no lifestyle change. They found a refrigerant undercharge that a previous company missed entirely.
— A. Sokolov, homeowner
Basement always felt swampy even when the AC ran constantly. Turns out the system was oversized for the space, adjusting settings fixed it without new equipment.
— G. Nakamura, homeowner
We assumed our old ductwork was fine since the house 'felt okay.' The pressure test showed otherwise and the fix noticeably improved airflow upstairs.

What people usually ask first.
Often fixable with duct sealing or damper adjustment, not a full redesign, but we measure before recommending either.
Usually oversizing or short-cycling that doesn't give the system enough runtime to dehumidify is the common culprit.
Duct leakage losses show up directly on the bill.
We handle sealing and minor resizing directly, larger redesigns get scoped separately, bigger jobs get quoted separately.
Hidden losses get caught before they compound.
Typically under two hours for airflow, pressure, and charge.
We cover Novi and the surrounding Novi, MI zips for performance diagnostics — call to schedule.
